Kim Lightwood (Key) - District 1

Kim is a cute but harsh 16-year-old with honey-colored hair, dark brown eyes, and a slim figure. He is loyal and kind to his friends, but cautious around those he doesn't trust. Kim is surprisingly strong - both physically and mentally. However kind he may seem, Kim can get easily angered and annoyed. Although his birth name is Kim, he prefers to be called Key. If you do call him Kim, be prepared, for a sharp object will be thrown at your face. He wears a studded black earring, with a tiny star engraved in as his district pendant.

Sargas Vega - District 2

A 16 year old boy who is 'devastatingly handsome' and 'so hot', as many girls describes him. Kate, however, simply despises him for his arrogance and 'charm'. He is famous for two major things: Sargas is one of the best athletes in the District, and he also plays huge pranks with his friends. Sargas despises his name and family, however, who all have a hatred for the 'lower' Districts. He is a very talented fighter and swordsman. He is great at close-combat fighting, but he still fights the best with is deadly katana and sharp throwing knives. His District Pendant are is a necklace hidden underneath his shirt, the shape of two crossed dark silver knives the color of stone.

Kate Brink - District 3

A 16 year old girl with dark brown hair and stormy grey eyes. She's stubborn, fierce, loyal, brave, and, least to say, not a wallflower. Kate is outgoing and is not afraid to say exactly what's on her mind. However, she believes in justice and will fight to the death for someone she trusts and believes in. She fights the best with her own hands, and she doesn't need a weapon to kill someone. Kate is fast, agile, and strong- not to mention one of the best battle strategists in the 12 Districts. However, her two weapons of choice is her poisoned saxe knife and her bow and arrows. Her District Pendant is not exactly a pendant: It is a scar of a lightning-shaped burn that was seared into her skin by her slightly insane mother when she was three years old, located on the inside of her left arm.
